What can we do outdoors while we’re in town?
If you want a little adventure, head to Pedernales Falls State Park, just 20 minutes away. It’s all rolling limestone, waterfalls, and river views. Bring your camera and maybe a picnic.
If you’re up for something epic, check out Hamilton Pool Preserve, a natural grotto with a 50-foot waterfall. Pro tip: you’ll need a reservation!
Where should we go for drinks?
Dripping Springs is basically Texas Hill Country’s happy hour.
A few guest faves:
Deep Eddy Vodka Tasting Room – cocktails + good vibes
Dripping Springs Distilling – award-winning vodka & gin in a gorgeous setting
Twisted X Brewing Co. – craft beer, Hill Country style
Texas Hill Country Olive Co. – not just olive oil tastings, but a perfect little foodie stop
And of course, plenty of wineries tucked into the hills for sipping and scenic views
Is there a cute downtown area to explore?
Yes! Take a stroll down Historic Mercer Street for boutique shopping, local eats, and a cozy small town vibe.
What about nighttime fun?
Dripping Springs really shines (literally). It’s a designated International Dark Sky Community, which means the stargazing is next level!
